Project Executive/Vice President, Sales

Are you a strategic leader with a deep understanding of MEP systems and a passion for customer relationships, business development, and pre-construction management? About the Role:

As Vice President, Sales, you will play a critical leadership role in building customer relationships, managing pre-construction efforts, and leading bid and proposal strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, coordinating closely with estimators and marketing, and ensuring that all proposals reflect a complete scope of work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, General Contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Bid Captain Leadership: Take the lead in managing bid efforts, ensuring that all components are aligned for a competitive and complete proposal.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee projects from inception through completion, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaboration with Estimators: Work closely with estimators to ensure all bids include a complete and accurate scope of work.
  • Proposal Management: Partner with the marketing team to assemble comprehensive proposal packages that effectively communicate value and capabilities.
  • Request for Proposal (RFP) Management: Take responsibility for receiving, reviewing, and responding to RFPs in a timely and strategic manner.
  • Proposal & Interview Leadership: Lead the proposal and interview process, ensuring that presentations are compelling, well-prepared, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Risk Identification: Proactively identify risks to projects and collaborate with internal teams to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Pre-Construction Management: Oversee and coordinate pre-construction efforts, ensuring smooth transitions from bid to execution.
  • Professionalism & Integrity: Maintain a high level of professionalism with employees, clients, and all external partners.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of field experience or a degree in engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Estimating experience with the ability to assess complete scopes of work.
  • Deep understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and their role in pre-construction.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with industry-specific software.
